The PowerTec PowerCache EV charging buffer battery supporting the Chargefox ultra-fast chargers in Goulburn is making its money these days. Charging events are frequent, and the battery is in heavy utilisation. Each peak in the image represents one or two EV’s charging with up to a total site power (orange line) of 360kW on a humble service station feeder of 110kW rating. The PowerCache (blue line) rapidly complements the electricity network’s power (green line), all the while it simultaneously keeps the powergrid technical parameters in balance.
