In time for the summer holidays, the PowerTec PowerCache® battery energy storage system (BESS) at No 1, Great Ocean Road, Torquay has transitioned from test to regular operation. Located at the beautiful RACV resort Torquay, the BESS supports the resort and the associated Chargefox ultra-fast EV charging station. It rides the waves of power demand and PV solar generation, adding resilience to the site power grid and saving energy cost.
